The Self-Care Spa & lounge

Customized and targeted facial treatments designed to address skin concerns such as acne, pigmentation, and dehydration. Includes deep cleansing, exfoliation, masks, serums, and protective moisturizers to restore, hydrate, and maintain healthy, radiant skin for all skin types.

Treatment for the back targeting pigmentation, acne, and congestion. Includes deep cleansing, exfoliation, and a hydrating mask to smooth skin and promote clarity. Professional techniques ensure comfort and effective results.

Back Facial (50 min)

Bikini area treatment including targeted extractions for ingrown hairs. Features brightening mask and barrier repair. Hydrates, smooths, and improves overall skin tone while maintaining comfort and sensitivity in delicate areas.

Brazilian & Purrty Kitty Facial (40 min)

Performed two weeks after hair removal. Focuses on ingrown hairs, uneven skin tone, and hyperpigmentation. Hydrates and protects sensitive areas while promoting brighter, smoother, and healthier skin.

Brightening Purrty Kitty Facial (30 min)

1 hr 20 min customized facial including deep cleansing, lip treatment enzyme with steam, deep extractions, mask, décolleté and hand massage. Finished with serum, moisturizer, and SPF protection to restore and nourish skin.

Self Care Facial (80 min)

Customized facial including double cleanse, exfoliation with steam, mask, and targeted facial reflexology massage. Includes hydration and protection. Beard grooming and high-frequency treatment included if applicable for optimal results.

Pamper Him (60 min)

Customized facial for all skin types. Deep cleanse, exfoliation with steam, sheet mask, serum, and SPF moisturizer included. Designed to restore and rejuvenate skin while promoting hydration, clarity, and a refreshed appearance.

Restore Facial (First Time Guest & Return Clients) (60 min)

Facials

Advanced treatments targeting acne, hyperpigmentation, fine lines, and overall skin health. Includes chemical exfoliations and microchanneling to stimulate collagen, improve texture, and promote rejuvenated, healthy skin.

Return clients only. Chemical exfoliation promotes new skin growth, targets hyperpigmentation, acne, and fine lines. Prepares skin for better absorption of products. Enhances skin texture, brightness, and overall health over multiple sessions.

Brow Tint (15 min)

Includes brow shaping and tinting. Enhances brows by defining shape and improving fullness. Temporary color lasts 7–14 days for a polished and professional finish with even coverage.

Raquel Mixon (She/ her), owner of The Self-Care Spa & Lounge prides herself on providing services around skin health and being an advocate of self-care. While navigating the beauty industry for the last 13  years, she began to implement life balance after facing days of depletion. As a woman of color, Raquel continues to plant seeds to grow her involvement in education, creating a self-care haven, and building partnerships with a network of individuals seeking to build engagement for our peers and youth around wellness and mental health.
